Harvesting Hope Recovery Mission Statement: To provide faith-based recovery in our community supported by programs emphasizing self-sustainable food security.

This is who we are and what we want. So, what are we doing about it??

HHR is working toward several different goals with our mission fueling the steps we are taking while future opportunities are in the works.

Meetings are held on site Monday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 9-10am and Monday evening from 7-8pm at 201 South Wilson Street in Vinita, Oklahoma. The meetings are open to the public, but facilitators also have authority to sign off on meeting documentation if an attendee has court-related mandates. HHR has been approved to give credit for meetings attended.

Harvesting Hope Recovery attended a Bridges Out of Poverty training as well to become more familiar with the several reasons poverty is taking over some of our communities. These different training opportunities are better equipping active members of HHR with the tools needed to be a knowledgeable, able, and compassionate resource for those with needs to be met in our community.

HHR’s goal of attaining land to start the commercial construction of an aquaponic greenhouse has begun! The greenhouse that will become not only a workplace for those in recovery (promoting accountability and responsibility) but will become a financial backing for the various recovery centered programs we intend to implement in this community that we love so dearly.

We currently are also satisfying community service hours for those in need. If anyone in the community has any questions or would like to know more about our mission, please reach out to us at 918-256-6416, message our Facebook page, or email us at info@harvestinghoperecovery.org.
